Quiet moment…

November 26, 2005

It’s sometimes frustrating to get a photo that you know has some nice meaning only to see the next morning that the sports page did not have room for it. I guess that is part of the reason we have the blog. To show all of you who view the blog what we think is good, what we worked to get and how it should have run. We don’t control the final product. All we can do is give the best we have and hope for the best. The best sometimes being quite subjective. At the end of the Henry Clay-Trinity football game last night, Coach Sam Simpson walked up quietly behind his son, starting quarterback Salin, and gave him a hug while quietly talking to him as they watched Trinity celebrate at the other end of the field. A moment that should have been shared to the rest of the city through print, but alas….was not. Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

it is frustrating when a shot like this doesn’t get used.

Got something to say?
