horsemen season opener
March 25, 2006
Well, basketball season has come and gone (’round here at least, my alma mater, Texas in still in it), luckily indoor football is under way. The Lexington Horsemen began their 2006 season with a win over the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Arena football is a bit different to cover than traditional football. The light in Rupp, reflected off the green turf is challenging. Being very even like florescent and exposing for the players faces under their helmets means I am shooting at a high ISO making the end photos grainy.
Luckily, there is lots of action. Also the UIF doesn’t seem to mind the players endzone antics, like Jaquar Sanders and Harry Lewis doing some odd mime of reeling in a fish.
