Pratt Falls

Never one to miss an opportunity to mess with a Herald-Leader photographer, local activist Don Pratt decided yesterday to demonstrate what the controversial speed humps near his neighborhood does to him and his legendary moped.

Pratt spotted me sitting on the top of my truck as I was waiting for traffic or kids to drive over one of the speed humps in the Bell Court neighborhood. The photo was to accompany the story by Beverly Fortune about a rift among neighbors who wanted more of the humps - and those who didn’t, including Pratt.
