Dia de los Muertos is celebrated in Mexico, other Latin American countries and Latino communities in the United States, November 2, to remember relatives who have deceased. Altars are made in the home with items reminding people of their loved ones, graves are decorated. Many cities and towns have parades with participants painted like skeletons like the dancers in the photos.
