That wave of blue I saw in Maui today wasn’t only from the Pacific Ocean. That faithful set of UK fans known as Big Blue Nation swept into town for a little fun in the sun and perhaps a basketball game or three. The Maui Invitational tournament starts Monday, and coach Smith said he hopes, among other things, the trip provides for some ‘bonding’ time for his team. I don’t think he’ll have a problem there.

This is my first trip to the islands of Hawaii - I can see now what all the fuss is about. I went snorkeling today (AFTER I shot these photos), and swam along with a gigantic sea turtle and schools of fish of all kinds of shapes, sizes and colors.
