OSU rocks, Texas A&M rolls on

This week, I’ve been holed up in Rupp Arena covering the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament. I thought I’d post some photos from the Saturday games here, most of which didn’t get published due to space restrictions.
First the Ohio State game:
That Greg Oden rocks. He won’t be playing college hoops long. He could be Robert Parish’s son.
OSU coach Thad Matta. He thinks Greg Oden rocks, too.
Ron Lewis’ buzzer-beating three-pointer, which sent the game into OT.
Same moment, same photographer, same position. Different camera, different lens. This photo was triggered by my foot with a switch connected to a 30D with a 16-35mm f2.8 lens resting on the floor in front of me.
We’re always looking for good action from a game, but often we’re looking for any kind of emotion that reflects the outcome of the game. Even better when both teams are in the photo.
Now, for the second game, Louisville vs. Texas A&M:
How do you spell ally-oop? That would be Terrence Williams on his way to a dunk.
UL’s Edgar Sosa, left, and Texas A&M’s Acie Law IV duked it out the entire game; both had incredible performances.
But, someone had to win, and someone had to lose. Sorry Edgar.
And now it’s time to celebrate and head to the Sweet 16.
I’m sure there are a lot of people in Texas who would like to hug Billy Gillispie.
Not Terrence Williams, though.
The end. There is always football.
