Why does this newspaper in the heart of the Bluegrass overlook the sensitivity of owners , families , trainers and all that have cared for fallen equine atheletes in such distaste with photos of the falling,or laying on the racetrack. After giving their courage and heart, you continue to display your lack of respect and concern for an industry as well as each one as an individual that are a backbone for the economy of Kentucky. It is disgusting, distasteful, and disgraceful that you relay images of animals meeting their death and riders that continue to be in serious condition . Why not a lovely photo of Eight Belles in the Post Parade a picture of the Rolex Horse in his previous jumps. Sensationalism is suppose to sell papers. For an area of the country that lives, and breathes horses and taking care of them , at all costs, it seems you all have lost perspective and geniune concern for our atheletes and those that devote their daily lives to them. Please reconsider before your next disgusting and disturbing photos of our animals we love and regard as family. Dissapointed, Betsi McCullough
