May 11 - 17, 2008 Week in Pictures

May 18, 2008

In this Week in Pictures, it’s high primary season in Kentucky with the two Democratic hopefuls - Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama - making stops; the school year is winding to a close, and for J.R. Ewan, the school itself marks the end of a 99-year run. Outside there was birdwatching, stockdog trials and UK’s Chinese community held a vigil for victims of the devastating earthquake in Sichuan province.

Charming and well handled video on Norma Mulligan. Great topic, nice visuals, handled with restraint and not overblown. This is what news should be.
