I can only hope that it will not be my last. It was a very moving service, well planed and executed. While I only served during the "peaceful" time between the fighting in Korea and Vietnam, I did spend 16 month in Korea. My family has been lucky over the years. A cousin was on shore leave from the Arizona at Pearl Harbor, and my older brother was sent back to the states just before his outfit went into combat in the Pacific. Even so, we all recognize the loss of other families who have not been so lucky. While we remember those fallen in combat, we also need to remember those who are wounded and may have to live the rest of their lives in broken bodies and with horrible memories. We came to pay tribute to all those who gave their life for our freedom, but one in particular. My father-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Drury. Chuck served his country proudly, although he did not die in the line of duty we honor him for his sacrifices. My father in law was an awesome person who never had a negative thing to say about anyone. We miss him dearly....until we meet again....
