Girl Scouts rock Camp Judy Lane

A small group of girls at Camp Judy Lane participated in a week-long program during which they learned how to rock—and work together. Local musician Melanie Johnson showed the girl scouts that writing and performing music could be fun, and not as hard as it seems. Video by Emily Spence | Staff

I was the drummer in our band the Price Tags at Camp Judy Layne this year, And I wanted 2 say thanks 2 the media crew 4 coming out that nite, and 2 Melanie 4 helping us.
Love Camp Judy Lane, went to sailing camp there in the early 80’s!

Emily Spencer….What a wonderful article. Congrats to my great neice Amy Rice. I played drums in high school and loved every minute of the marching band and the concert band. I don’t guess I was very good, but I loved the drums. Way to go Amy rice!!!!!! Aunt Pat
