Fayette County’s Winburn Middle School made No Child Left Behind goals for the first time this year, after failing to do so five years in a row. NCLB is a federal law that measures achievement in state math and reading tests. This year about 62 percent of Winburn students reached the highest level of proficient and distinguished in the reading score.
