Making way for the CentrePointe project, crews continued clearing the block, including Buster’s Bar at the corner of South Upper and W. Main Street on Thursday, August 21, 2008.

Thank you again for documenting this. And thank you for putting my words that you recorded as a soundtrack to the images. My voice was fraught with emotion and sadness; it was as hard for me to listen to what I (and my husband) said as it was to watch the time lapse.
I can understand the opposing point of view you presented. Sure, the building was an “eyesore,” but it had been neglected. Of course it was an eyesore! Did the speaker notice the beautiful brick work that lay under the façade of that building? I wonder.
