Got something to say?
First time viewer of Kentucky.com and browsing around; looking for grocery coupons and looking at multi-media. I think that an explanation of the pictures in the slide show in the sport section would be neat.
I am a long time reader of the actual newspaper although I only take Sunday’s now. You guys lean way too far left in actual news coverage and in your op-ed sections, however I enjoy the paper and now the internet site. I like better than the Courier Journal.
hey Steve,
We shorten captions in shows but there are captions with each photo. If you watch the show again click on the button one the bottom right that says caption. Then each show will have a caption appear. Thanks for looking!
i just wanted to say to coach brooks, the boos are for him not for hartline, why because after all this time he’s still making stupid mistakes with bad judgement calls.. and to lash out at the fans that paid the increased prices for tickets this year or sat and watched him loose loose, loose, loose for years just shows his true colors. it’s always about him! NOT THE PEOPLE WHO PACK IN THAT STADIUM.
lets be honest he had a pretty solid team the last couple of years but coach “every dog has his day & good dogs have two” you still have not taken us to bcs bowl or put us truly in the running for the sec championship, so i leave you with this coach “DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU,YOUR STILL ON THE FENCE FOR ALOT OF US.. & UK FANS CAN GET COLD AS THE BLUE THEY WEAR……………………..
I think ky fans are pure cry-baby’s. If we beat someone by 100 points the cry-baby fans would still bitch about something.
Your ok in my book coach brooks, keep doing your thing. Billy the Hunter
The last 2 comments just goes to show we’ve got some real buffons (look it up) in the stands. A true big blue fan would have more class than to boo either our players or our coaches. You know we always have recruits at most games and I don’t believe that’s the kind of spirit we want to exhibit at any time, let alone to these potential UK players. If that’s the best you can do, stay home and listen to the game on the radio.
If you don’t realize by now the quality of Coach Brooks and his staff, and the terrific job they are doing, you’ve not been paying attention. He and his coaches are class acts and I would have been disappointed if he had not chastised those who booed. I don’t believe he is “on the fence” for the majority of fans. Just the opposite. I’m extremely proud of the Wildcat players and coaches and will continue to be through whatever the season brings, because they are building a solid football program the right way.
I would think Paul Crowe is in a distinct minority among the UK fans I know. Apparently, he thinks that coaches who don’t take a perennial SEC bottom feeder and win a national championship are a failure. I’ll admit I was on the fence before the 2006 breakout season (unlike some, who was ready to give up on Brooks during/after the 2005 season), but now, I know we have the right man for this job (along with the next one as well). I think we have continued to improve every year, and will continue to do so, if these so-called “fans” don’t ruin it for the “true-blue” fans. Maybe Paul would be happier backing the Cards with their fair weather fans.
As for the booing, I understand, but don’t approve, because this is a young man who has been efficient, if not overly spectacular. I don’t think you pull the plug on his being the main guy because of three good drives. Don’t forget, in his 6 or so quarters of full play, Hartline has zero turnovers, while Cobb has 2 in the other 2 quarters. Maybe Rich knows what he is doing after all. Let the man coach, and cheer our boys on while we experience what looks to be the greatest sustained success since “The Bear” graced our sidelines.

just wanted to say ,that cobb is the best ive seen out of the two… your boy hartline doesn’t the.. arm to make any plays that i can see .. what , some 4 yard outs ? cobb had more yards in the louseville game on 3 touches than hartline had throwing ! who in the hell doesn’t know , that you cant throw the ball away when your not out of the pocket, and also in the endzone… he chokes! not to mention, hartline would be third string if pulley hadn’t been dismissed. And for Coach Brooks, keep doin what your doin coach…. everybody’s worried about the QB position, when they should be lookin at them boys on ‘D’ ! thats what wins championships … And no , im not sayin we’re going to do yhat anyway…. Go ahead and dog me , but COBB’S the real deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
