UK Observes 9/11

The University of Kentucky ROTC’s Pershing Rifles observed the seventh anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks with a daylong memorial observance held on the lawn in front of U.K.’s Main Building. More than 3000 flags were placed on the lawn and along the sidewalks and the name of every victim was read as a Pershing Rifle honor guard stood watch. Photos by Charles Bertram | Staff
