The Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Celebration was held in his hometown of Hodgenville. Several celebrations were held around town including a flag raising and wreath-laying ceremony on Lincoln Square in downtown and ceremony at the Larue County High School were the U.S. Mint unveiled a redesigned Lincoln one cent coin.
