University of Kentucky officials are aiming to settle for less than the $6 million buyout provision in ousted basketball coach Billy Gillispie’s “memorandum of understanding.” ORDER PHOTO REPRINTS
While Billy Gillispie took the high road Saturday in talking about his two seasons as Kentucky coach, his attorney sounded ready to go to court to get his client $6 million in compensation. UK’s buyout obligation remained unresolved as the school fired Gillispie as coach on Friday. Story




So long Billy, good luck to you, sorry that it ended this way, the fickle fans of KY got their way again, as far as I’m concerned the team will not have a coach next year with your coaching abilities, but will end up with a lot better record, thanks to you & your coaching & recruiting.
