Well now that all of the hoopla over the undefeated season is over maybe the young “one and doners” can play a little real basketball, not all of this chest pounding, muscle flexing stuff and concentrate on playing the game. The great Coach Calipari has allowed this because for him it is a testament to how today’s young men want to showoff and make individual specticles of themselves. Call me old fashion, which I am, but by playing hard and being focused on the game and the team itself will get you just as much attention as high flying dunks, around the back lay-ups. If you want to see that kind of basketball you should go to see the Harlem Globtrotters. I find it amusing that the play of a determined 5′9″ gaurd and the hustle of the SC team as a whole could bring down the great Kentucky Wildcats. I knew it was coming and it was just a matter of time. I would like to say that Cousins had a great game and if they had went to him even more, it would of been game over the South Carolina, but if they had done that the “Great Wall” would of had to slowed down and distributed the ball to him instead of flying into the lane with nowhere to go with the ball. He may be a great assist man, but he is almost equally as good at turning the ball over. South Carolina dominated Kentucky in every aspect of the game. Thank you Gamecocks you made me a very happy man last night.

Memphis-Lexington looses its first game. Welcome to the SEC coach Cal. Great coaching as usual calling a time-out when Wall made 2 points on a layup near the end of the game.
