2009 Ichthus Festival: Day three


Ichthus Festival fans finally got a warm, sunny day June 13, to play, pack up and enjoy a few final shows. Among the closing acts were Israel Houghton and New Breed and Delirious.

18th Century Market Fair, Historic Locust Grove, Louisville

Included were Revolutionary War Encampments of American and British Soldiers, tavern with food, music and games.

Ichthus came to a halt Friday afternoon following torrential downpours that forced the cancellation of the evening’s entertainment.

Day One: Battle of the Bands

The Battle of the Bands this year at Ichthus started bright and early at 9:30 a.m. Nine bands competed for a time slot on Saturday and other perks.

Swinging into Summer

Summer can’t officially start until the annual Elizabeth Ann Seton Country Fair has arrived. “This is the start of summer and the end of school,” said Mary Buckles as she watched her daughter, C.J. Buckle climb down from the swings. “And it’s a great fund raiser for the church.”
