At the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park, the Head of the Lake series of jumps is a perennial fan favorite.

A Horse Lover’s Wish

Patrick Munro, 9, from Long Island, N.Y., is blind and hearing impaired but that hasn’t hindered his love for horses. Last week, The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted Patrick’s wish to come to Kentucky and experience horses on a grand scale, something he has only dreamed.

Patrick spent April 17, 2008 with John Greely and his mother at Keeneland where he met Garrett Gomez and experienced the biggest race of his life.
