Meaning of name: Adrian is the middle name of Don Adam of Courtlandt Farms. He said he usually names horses after other family members but thought it was time to name one after him. He was in Italy visiting a marble company and saw a sign that said “Adriano.” He thought that was the perfect name for his horse, so the name stuck.
