Most days, Lexington Police Officer Don Evans, who is better known as “Officer Don”, can be found flying a police helicopter or reporting from the air as a traffic reporter for WKYT-TV. But in the evenings, he can often be found flying a 60-year-old WWII era warbird. The plane is one of 15 war-era planes owned and flown by Mojo Aerospace at Blue Grass Airport.
